About Us

GFM was founded in 2014 by George Englezakis who, having gone through a long career in the Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty industry, decided to change professional orientation offering Consulting and Commercial Services to the Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty Sectors where he can make best use of his specific know how and long experience. Along this line, GFM provides the following services:

Commercial and basic engineering services

as representative in Greece & Cyprus, of suppliers of machines and equipment used in the Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty industry for bulk manufacturing and packaging.

Consulting for:

Organization and Management of Industrial Companies and Manufacturing Plants (operations, business development, manufacturing, packaging, engineering, maintenance etc.) in the Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty sectors.
Mergers & Acquisitions of industrial companies in the Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty sectors.
Conceptual and Basic Engineering Design for the building of new or the modification of existing Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty Production Plants.
Plants Construction Management & Supervision.

Founder & Director

George Englezakis

George holds a BSc and an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Studies from the Universities of Nottingham and Liverpool, UK. He worked for 10 years for the Swiss companies SANDOZ and CIBA-GEIGY as Project Engineer, Construction Director, Head of Plant Engineering and Plant Director in Asia, Africa and Europe including Greece. For more than two decades he worked for the FAMAR Group where, for the last 14 years before his retirement, he was holding the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Member of The Board of Directors.

George, in parallel to his duties for the Operations of the Group, participated actively to the substantial growth of FAMAR in the period 1990-2012. In 2012 the FAMAR Group counted eleven Pharmaceutical and Health & Beauty plants in Greece, France, Italy, The Netherlands and Spain with 3200 employees, turn over approaching €500Mil and production capacity over 750Mil packs.

During his career in the Pharma Industry, George also dealt with the construction, modification and revamping of eight pharmaceutical production plants in Greece and abroad either as member of the design and construction team or as Construction Director responsible for the design, construction, time schedule and budget of the project.
